The Synapse AL 2 road bike comes with a Shimano Tiagra 10-speed drivetrain and rides on DT Swiss rims with Vittoria Zaffrio Pro 700c x 30 mm tires. It comes with alloy handlebars and a Fizik saddle. Click through for more specs.
Dirt, gravel, and road, the Topstone Carbon 4 sports a Kingpin suspension and carbon frameset to smooth out the bumps. It has 20 gears (700c) on its gravel-specific Shimano GRX 600/400 groupset.
Additionally, it has flat-mount disc brakes (with internal cable routing), room for a 27.2mm dropper post, as well as mounts for fenders, bags, and bottles. Click through for the full specs.
The Co-op Cycles Generation e1.1 Electric Bike provides five modes of pedal-assist power up to 20 mph. This e-bike has a rear cargo rack, a step-through frame, and wide tires for stability over paved and unpaved terrain. The 417Wh battery has a range of 30-40 miles with pedal assist.
The Generation e1.2 electric bike builds off the e1.1’s design but adds a removable front rack and a battery capacity of 672 Wh for a range of 40-50 miles with pedal assist.
The removable battery comes with a lock to secure it while parked away from home. Other specs include hydraulic brakes, built-in front and rear lights, and, of course, a kickstand.
The brightly colored Junction cycling rain jacket is designed to keep showers off your back and allow heat to escape on rides. It’s fully seam-sealed, 2.5-layer windproof, waterproof, and breathable with a DWR finish.
The pits have waterproof zippers but open wide to let out some steam. The tuck-away hood is shaped to fit over a helmet, the jacket’s back hem is long to keep your back covered while riding, and the cuffs fit close to keep out water.
Cannondale gave the Quick bike helmet a modern shape and several vents. It has a built-in rear HyTail light for visibility as far as 1,600 feet away. The light has a quick release so you can bring it inside to recharge via USB (in roughly an hour).
It’s molded together to form one solid piece and has a fixed visor. Front air vents have mesh to keep bugs and leaves out. A knob in the back lets you (literally) dial the fit.
The StageTwo two-bike hitch rack has offset, tiered trays to keep bikes from getting in the way of each other. It locks without tools and holds bikes with protective StrongArm hooks to avoid scratching paint or carbon frames.
It can carry most bikes, including mountain, road, hybrid, step-through, BMX, kids’, and electric bikes. The rack holds 16- to 29-inch wheel sizes and tires up to 3.25 inches wide. (A Fat-Tire Bike Kit, sold separately, can adapt the rack to fit up to 5-inch-wide tires.)
It comes with cables and SKS (Same Key System) locks to secure the bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle.
The Co-op Cycles REV 24 bike is made to be a gateway bike to riding trails. It has a 6061 aluminum frame, chunky 2.6-inch-wide tires, and 1×7 shifting for a streamlined experience. Mechanical disc brakes offer responsive braking in most conditions. It has a weight limit of 120 pounds.
According to REI, the Co-op Cycles REV CTY 24 is a scaled-down version of an adult bike with the same ride performance. It has an aluminum frame, a Shimano drivetrain with 21 gears, linear-pull rim brakes, and all-terrain tires.
This singletrack bike is built for young kids and tweens. The REV DRT 24 has a 6061 aluminum frame and comes with an 80mm suspension fork, trail-ready large tires, and hydraulic disc brakes. It’s an eight-speed with one chainring, so shifting isn’t overcomplicated. It has a weight limit of 120 pounds.
Cannondale’s Quick Junior helmet comes in high-vis colors and durable in-mold construction. It has a fixed visor, mesh vents, and removable pads to absorb sweat. There’s even a knob in the back to adjust the fit, just like the adult version.
REI Co-op members enjoy even more savings and access to several cycling benefits, like 20% off shop services and free labor on flat tire repairs.
Other benefits include Coast to Coast Support, which provides one year of free adjustments, in-store bike assembly, in-store or curbside pickup, and access to the co-op’s bike experts at its more than 170 bike shops. Two years of service are included with the purchase of a new bike at REI.
Of course, each spring, members also receive a share of what they spent at REI the previous year.
