Sony's great and budget-friendly Pulse 3D Headset is available for an even friendlier price right now.

Sony has a number of fantastic PlayStation deals on right now as part of its Back to School sale, and if you're looking to complete your purchase with an official headset, then you can grab the gray camouflage Sony Pulse 3D headset for $70. This is a price that you usually only see during Black Friday for the PlayStation cans, which normally have an MSRP of $100. You can also get the PS5 console for $450 and a DualSense controller in any color for $50.

Besides a stylish design with a decidedly PlayStation aesthetic, the Pulse 3D headset also has some impressive internals. The wireless headset boasts a battery life of up to 12 hours from a full charge, it takes advantage of the proprietary Tempest 3D AudioTech in the PS5 to deliver some premium audio to your eardrums, and easy-access controls allow for quick adjustments on the fly. Additionally, it comes with a USB wireless adapter, a USB-C charging cable, and a 3.5mm audio cable.

"There are better headsets out there, and perhaps many that are more comfortable, but at $100, Sony has hit a price that is hard to beat for the vivacious and rich audio experience that the Pulse delivers," Mat Paget wrote in GameSpot's Sony Pulse 3D headset review.
